Atahalliyev and the khyakims of the velayats, where the progress of work in the agricultural sector and the regions of the country was discussed. The first speaker was the khyakim of Ahal Velayat, T. Nurmyradov, who reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns. As noted, wheat care is currently being carried out in the region in accordance with agro-technical standards. As part of preparations for the cotton sowing campaign, land leveling and planning are being carried out. At the same time, in order to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region, work continues at cotton processing enterprises on the procurement and proper storage of seed material. Based on the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to supply the population with fruit and vegetable products produced in the country, the velayat has started planting potatoes and onions, and necessary measures are being taken to prepare land and seeds for other fruit and vegetable crops. In addition, information was provided on work to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in residential buildings, enterprises, schools, kindergartens, and other socio-cultural facilities, as well as the uninterrupted supply of electricity, gas, and water. After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that adherence to agro-technical standards in wheat care and field preparation for sowing contributes to increasing the yield of agricultural crops and, in this regard, gave the khyakim the necessary instructions. Next, the khyakim of Balkan Velayat, H. Ashyrmyradov, reported on the progress of agricultural work in the region. As reported, to achieve a rich harvest this year, wheat crops are being maintained in accordance with agro-technical standards. At the same time, necessary measures are being taken to prepare fields and high-quality cotton seeds for sowing. Efforts are also being made to prepare land, seed material, and the organized planting of potatoes and other vegetable crops. Due to the ongoing winter season, the khyakim reported on efforts to ensure the uninterrupted supply of heating, electricity, natural gas, and drinking water to residential buildings and socio-cultural facilities. Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized that the key requirement of today is the high-quality implementation of agro-technical measures, and he gave the regional administration head a number of specific instructions in this regard. Next, the khyakim of Dashoguz Velayat, D. Babaev, reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region. As noted, work continues on fertilizing wheat fields with mineral fertilizers and irrigation in accordance with agro-technical standards. On lands allocated for cotton sowing, leveling, planning, and washing irrigation are being carried out. Steps are being taken to prepare high-quality cotton seeds that meet the region's soil and climate conditions and to ensure their availability to producers. In addition, fields and seeds are being prepared for the spring planting of potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops. The khyakim also reported on measures taken to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems at socio-cultural facilities in the region, as well as the uninterrupted supply of electricity, natural gas, and drinking water to the population during the ongoing winter season. Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to agro-technical standards in agricultural work, especially in wheat care and cotton sowing preparation, and gave the khyakim specific instructions in this regard. Additionally, efforts are being made to prepare high-quality cotton seeds to supply agricultural producers. At the same time, work is underway to procure the necessary volume of potato and onion seeds, and necessary measures are being taken for the timely sowing of these crops. Information was provided on ensuring the proper operation of heating systems in residential buildings and other socio-cultural facilities in the region during the ongoing winter period, as well as the uninterrupted supply of electricity, natural gas, and drinking water to the population. After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that strict adherence to agro-technical standards is one of the main conditions for effective agricultural management and, in this regard, gave the khyakim the necessary instructions. Next, the khyakim of Mary Velayat, B. Orazov, reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work. As noted, wheat fields are currently being fertilized with mineral fertilizers, irrigated, and nearby areas are being cleaned. To prepare for the cotton sowing campaign, land leveling and planning continue, as well as the preparation of high-quality seed material for farmers. The region has started planting potatoes and onions, with efforts being made to ensure this critical season is conducted in a timely and high-quality manner, as well as to prepare seeds and fields for sowing other vegetable and melon crops. Information was provided on measures being taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of heating systems in residential buildings, schools, and kindergartens, as well as the supply of electricity, natural gas, and drinking water to the population. After hearing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of the current tasks facing the agricultural sector and instructed the khyakim to ensure the high-quality and timely care of wheat fields and the preparation of land for cotton sowing. Summarizing the report, the head of state noted that the quality of agricultural crops directly depends on adherence to agro-technical standards, which must be strictly followed during agricultural activities, particularly in wheat care and field preparation for sowing. The Vice Premier was given specific instructions in this regard. Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed them to keep strict control over the work on leveling, planning, ridging, and washing irrigation of lands allocated for cotton sowing, to take necessary measures to provide farmers with high-quality seeds, and to ensure that wheat is maintained in accordance with agro-technical standards. At the same time, the head of state ordered thorough preparation of soil and seeds for the spring planting of potatoes and vegetable crops, acceleration of sowing, timely settlement of payments for work performed between cotton and wheat producers and service organizations in the regions, as well as the uninterrupted operation of heating systems in residential buildings, schools, and kindergartens, and strict control over the supply of electricity, natural gas, and drinking water to the population.
